Since 1933
Fred Liston built the original Liston’s and opened a small gas station, using Esso gas. Once prohibition ended, he opened his bar which had 4 stools and a candy counter. Gasoline was available outside while loyal customers fueled up inside. Liston’s has gone through many improvements, additions and a few different owners over the years. In 2021, the Worthington Restaurant Group purchased Liston’s and re-built the entire building to ensure that Liston’s would be a part of Worthington for many years to come.

4 Star Review - GoogleWe love going to Liston’s, been going for years and love the new building. They have outdoor seating and are dog friendly. Just a great little out of the way place, worth stopping.

5 Star Review - GoogleBusy and crowded most weekend evenings after 6, we arrived early. We were quickly seated and wait staff ensured that we promptly had a drink in front us. Meals of fried fish were served promptly. Fish was cooked to my liking (lightly fried and light coating of batter). We wanted to take our time after dinner, so the wait staff took that cue and didn’t rush us out. Nicely decorated, clean, warm, and bright space.
